Illyarrie Red Capped Gum - Eucalyptus erythrocorys

The Red Capped Gum is an evergreen tree that bears attractive, yellow, fluffy flower clusters that explode from green buds with a showy red cap. This gum tree has very decorative bark that is white and smooth. An ideal specimen for urban and verge planting as it only reaches 5 metres tall.

Drought tolerant once established.

Grows best in an open and sunny position in well-draining soil. For best results, prune after flowering when young to promote bushy growth.
