Calothamnus hirsutus, also known as the Hairy Claw Flower, is a small, evergreen, native WA shrub with grey-green needle-like foliage, creating a soft smokey appearance. The flowers are red with a unique claw shape.
Hairy Clay Flower is a slow-growing shrub but will become a gorgeous feature in the garden.
Calothamnus hirsutus is found in the Avon Wheatbelt, Geraldton Sandplains, Jarrah Forest and the Swan Coastal Plain.
