Lesser Bottlebrush | Callistemon phoeniceus

The Lesser Bottlebrush is an upright, rounded shrub with grey-green leaves and a slightly twisted form. The foliage contrasts with the many brilliant red flower spikes that appear over spring and summer. It is a great street front verge tree and attracts birds, including black cockatoos.

Feed with a native fertiliser in spring. Prune after flowering to maintain shape.
